The Perak government will start the search for the best short video 'Perak Food Hunter' which promotes famous places in the state today.
Tourism Perak and Digital Perak Corporation Holdings free entry contest is open to all in Malaysia until February 19th and includes two categories which is street food and cafe.
State Youth, Sports, Communications and Multimedia Committee chairman, Khairul Shahril Mohamed, said: “Filming must be in Perak and highlight traditional and popular food like nasi vanggey, laksa or cendol Kuala Kangsar, mee hailam Parit, or the seafood that is synonymous with Lumut, Pulau Pangkor or Gerik.
"The video should not take more than three minutes, and the eatery address must be in the caption," he said at today's press conference.

He said that the evaluation would involve creativity and appeal, with the winner awarded RM3,000, second place RM2,000, and third place RM1,000 besides other prizes.
