50th anniversary celebration:MAH launches the first-ever domestic tourism fair

Commemorating its 50th Anniversary, The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) proudly unveils its inaugural Tourism Fair dedicated to promoting the nation’s domestic tourism. This groundbreaking event serves as a pivotal platform, fostering direct engagement between businesses and the public.

Event Details:
Dates : July 6th & 7th, Saturday and Sunday
Time : 10 AM - 9 PM
Location : Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur
Entry : Free & Open to the public

In a grand showcase of hospitality, over 2,500 room vouchers will be distributed to visitors with any purchases made at the event.

Speaking on its focus for domestic tourism, Dato’ Khoo Boo Lim, the Vice President of MAH and the Organising Chairman MAH Tourism Fair said: “Recently due to circumstances beyond our control, Malaysia’s hotels have been perceived as expensive for locals. With this initiative, we aimed to make luxury stays more accessible and encourage the public to discover worthwhile destinations right here in our home, Malaysia.”

Event Launch and Press Meet took place at the Grand Dorsett Subang on March 11. This prestigious event was honored with the presence of Mr. Amin Yahya, the Senior Director for the Domestic and Events Division at Tourism Malaysia; YB Nicole Tan Lee Koon, the Negeri Sembilan State Executive Councillor and Chairman of the Negeri Sembilan Tourism, Arts andCulture Committee; Datin Christina Toh, President of the Malaysian Association of Hotels
(MAH) and Dato Khoo Boo Lim Chairman of the MAH Tourism Fair Organizing Committee; along with distinguished guests from the industry and members of the media.
