The 11th Annual Global Organisation of Tamil Origin Meet is set to take place on January 4th & 5th, 2025, at Dewan Sri Pinang, Penang, Malaysia, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. This prestigious event will welcome more than 1,000 Tamils from over 40 countries, uniting to celebrate a shared heritage through various programs and discussions.
This year's event will feature an array of sub-events, including the Global Connect Conference, the Women Leadership Forum, and many others. Key topics will cover art, culture, traditional food, fashion festivals, the rich history of ancient Tamils, as well as a seminar on International MSME Business Owners. Exhibitors will showcase innovations in sectors such as education, healthcare, engineering, Siddha, Ayurvedic naturopathy, food processing, and more.
Trade associations, business commissions, traders, and exporters from various countries will also participate, exploring opportunities for collaboration. The exhibition will offer valuable insights on government assistance for small and medium entrepreneurs.
A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the Sadhanai Tamilan Awards to distinguished individuals, the Nallasan Award recognizing teachers, and the Young Juvenile Award, designed to honor and support the achievements of young talents, encouraging their continued development.
A special session focusing on women entrepreneurs will provide a platform to discuss pathways to success and foster empowerment. Notable dignitaries including Tamil Legislative Assembly members, State Union Ministers, Vice Chancellors, and Mayors from various countries are expected to attend.

Buyers from multiple nations will also participate, focusing on the export of products manufactured in Malaysia. Invitations have been extended to all members of Parliament and state ministers from the Unity Government of Malaysia, further reinforcing the event's significance at a national level.
We have also requested the support of Tamil Nadu MSME, Malaysia SME Corp, and MAICCI to elevate the international scope and reach of this event. With the collaboration of the Penang State Government, this multifaceted festival is set to become a remarkable global platform for showcasing Tamil heritage and fostering cross-border business opportunities.
